Ah Finally a Win with the Ravagers of the Shire. This was a really exciting game against a beautiful Rohan Hero Army.
My numbers advantage was very helpful, just slowly wearing down the enemy heroes until their resources ran out. it also meant that I could reasonably contend for all the objectives while Phil simply didn't have the man power to do so, allowing me to steal away 1 objective uncontested.

I was lucky with dice, winning almost all the priority roles (super important against a cavalry army), and my trolls did a decent job but were killed eventually by Hama and Haleth. Golfimbul managed to survive a fight against Frealaf, (striking up to win the fight and then running to the far side of the dwarven buildings while ordering his minions to get in the way (I was on the same board twice in a row (not bad as it one of the nicer looking tables, and meant I didn't have to pack up and move my 60ish models)).
But ultimately it was just the Hord of orcs with +1 to wound that did the work for me, killing Helm, breaking, and quartering the enemy.
